About The Event
Open Act Drama Club at Station Hall
For ages 11–14
Open Act Drama Club is coming to Station Hall, offering young people a fun, welcoming space to get creative, build confidence and find their voice through drama.
Led by a local Lambeth drama teacher, the weekly sessions are designed to encourage creativity and self-expression in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether your young person already loves performing or is completely new to drama, they’ll be very welcome.
Through games, exercises and collaborative performance-making, participants will:
🎭 Develop acting and improvisation skills
⭐ Build confidence and self-expression
🎬 Create their own characters, scenes and stories
🤝 Work together as an ensemble
💡 Develop creativity and new ideas
❤️ Make new friends in a supportive environment
A big part of Open Act is giving young people the opportunity to create original work together, rather than simply learning scripts or rehearsing an existing play.
New members are very welcome.
