The Space

Station Hall is a bright and airy versatile space approx. 160 square meters which can be used for all kinds of events. The Hall has a capacity of 100. 

 

Our programme currently comprises of regular classes and workshops run by local organisations and free and low cost community events that we organise ourselves. We hire out the hall to both commercial and charity/not for profit organisations and also partner with organisations to run funded programmes. Take a look at our whats on page here

Want somewhere for choir practice? Want to run a class or workshop? Want to put on a training event? Want to have a party? Want somewhere to just BE? 

 

We want to hear from you! What we're aiming for: diversity, inclusivity, fun, thoughtfulness, kindness, innovation, things that give back, things that make a difference, things that feel important. What we don't want: just any old other straight up and down event space, where you can book a room. Yawn...We want to create something that's really amazing at Station Hall, and we need YOU and your brainwaves to help us do that.

Location

Station Hall is conveniently located above Herne Hill train station, just 7 minutes on the train from Central London. There are many bus routes through Herne Hill and many places to park your bike outside the station. 

 

Accessibility

The Victorian architects made no provision for lift access to the first floor hall. So currently we are sorry to say that there is no ‘step free’ access to Station Hall.  Access is via an outdoor staircase. Of course accessibility is one of  our top priorities and we are currently exploring all the options for this.

Sustainability & Recycling

We try to be as sustainable as possible at Station Hall. We use recycled and eco friendly products where possible. Unfortunately we have limited recycling facilities on site apart from cardboard so we ask all bookers to take away any recycling or to use the public recycling bins in front of the Station. We ask all users to avoid using plastic where possible.

Please Note: The length of your booking must include set up and pack up time. 

 

Community  £20ph (Minimum 2 Hour Hire for one off) 

For charitable organisations, not for profits and community groups running free events open to the community

One off Commercial Hire £35ph (Minimum 2 Hour Hire)

Station Hall has become a popular place to hold Children’s Parties so we have a special package for you.

The party package includes

 

Use of the Sound System

Use of Projector and Screen to play any films or movies

Children's Party wear for up to 30 which Includes Table Cloths, Plates, Bowls, Cups, Cutlery & Jugs all we ask is that you quickly wash up and leave to dry on our drying rack

Adult Table wear for up to 30.
